It is a red wine in organic conversion, round and greedy, with excellent drinkability. To be consumed at any time! Behind the wine Humble and generous, Stéphane Gros is as much with his land as with his visitors. He owes this passion to his father, who was a cooperator at the time and who, on the eve of his retirement, did not hide his bitterness at the idea of seeing all these vines torn up. That’s how Stéphane got involved in the adventure. Today, it is a beautiful family story that gives rhythm to the life of the Domaine. For example, you should know that these unusual labels are entirely designed by Stéphane’s son. The entire terroir of Champ des Barbiers has been cultivated organically for several years. According to the legend, this property used to allow the barbers of the village to come here to collect the flowers that were useful to them. From this arid and difficult territory of Argelliers, Stéphane has produced identity wines, whose complementary profiles seem to perfectly seduce consumers.

A fruity and vigorous wine, which reveals a beautiful mineral length and which will know how to delight your taste buds. The vines of Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss are worked according to the methods of biodynamic agriculture, with respect for the environment and biodiversity. Behind the wine Jean Kreydenweiss, Marc’s young son and Antoine’s younger brother who took over the famous Alsatian property, is now at the helm of the estate in Manduel in the heart of the Costières de Nîmes vineyards. So far from his native Alsace, he succeeds in satisfying his passion by listening to the terroir and the living beings that populate it. Each wine here advocates respect for the earth thanks to the biodynamic methods used by the winemaker, which he is particularly concerned about. With an impressive maturity in his choices and in his work, Jean gives a new impulse to the domain through an unfailing assurance. From the oldest grape varieties, Syrah, Carignan, Grenache, or Mourvèdre, he produces unique and innovative wines. At the Domaine, if you are lucky, he will make you taste, with his partner Anaïs, all his greatest successes and will explain to you the secrets with passion and enthusiasm. Located on a gentle slope in the Costières de Nîmes, whose ferruginous soil is made up of rolled Rhone pebbles, it is the ideal place to produce great red wines in a generous region.

Halfway between the family of fruity wines, easy to drink, and that of more structured wines, this flattering wine is unanimously appreciated by men and women, amateurs and professionals, young and old. This original, well-balanced and harmonious organic red wine can be tasted on any occasion, from the aperitif to the digestive. Behind the wine Located in the north of the Hérault province, at the gateway to the Cevennes, the Domaine de Sauzet is one of the oldest wine-producing properties in the region. In an almost untouched nature, in the middle of oaks and garrigues, this magnificent castle dominated by its tower awaits you far from the bustle of the city. Its terroir, bathed by the sun’s rays, but paradoxically soaked by the rains, promises complex wines whose aromatic freshness has become the signature of the estate. It’s hard to imagine yourself 25 years ago, in a ruin with no future. For François Massol, the winemaker, it is a crush to which he gives his chance. If you meet Nicolas, the oenologist, he will undoubtedly describe to you with passion the various techniques of winemaking and the secrets of his soils. You may be lucky enough to discover a few kilometers further on, the young plot of vines planted on naturally resistant heart-shaped plants on an old paragliding runway. It is love at first sight, the promise of a moment of sharing. It finds all its character in its power and richness. Behind the wine Following the restoration and transformation into Mas of the old building in Mauguio, in the south-east of the Hérault province (34), the team of La Clausade took up the challenge of creating its first vintages of rosé and white wines, in organic conversion. Driven by a true passion for the vines, the owner chose to plant six grape varieties in the spring of 2019, five of which are naturally resistant to mildew and powdery mildew, thus reducing the use of chemical treatments. This cuvée, elaborated in collaboration with the Domaine de Bayet, is defined as the first steps of the 100% La Clausade white wine that you will be able to taste next year.

A wine that takes up the challenge of sulfite-free, offering quality and elegance while promising a much more affordable future. These vines, cultivated in the purest tradition, fed with organic amendments, and cared for with mineral and vegetable elements, offer the best of themselves with each vintage. Behind the wine Folle Avoine: a weed for some, a family history that has lasted for over a century for others… In 1999, Jean Claude Daumond, a true nature lover, was the only organic winegrower in the village of Vendargues. At the time, his winegrower neighbors described his vines as dirty and infested with “Crazy Oats” since he did not use weedkillers. The name caught Jean-Claude’s attention and he decided to use it for his wine. Today, his son Guillaume is also part of the adventure and represents the 5th generation of “eccentric” winemakers for some, avant-garde for others…
