A wine that takes up the challenge of sulfite-free, offering quality and elegance while promising a much more affordable future. These vines, cultivated in the purest tradition, fed with organic amendments, and cared for with mineral and vegetable elements, offer the best of themselves with each vintage. Behind the wine Folle Avoine: a weed for some, a family history that has lasted for over a century for others… In 1999, Jean Claude Daumond, a true nature lover, was the only organic winegrower in the village of Vendargues. At the time, his winegrower neighbors described his vines as dirty and infested with “Crazy Oats” since he did not use weedkillers. The name caught Jean-Claude’s attention and he decided to use it for his wine. This wine has a dark color, a bewitching nose, and a juicy and minty mouth. There are also notes of blackcurrant and violet.

50% Syrah, 25% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc.
Culture: Organic agriculture, sulfite-free. The domain extends over three neighboring communes, this distribution of land allows for the originality of a terroir made of siliceous rock pebbles here, a clay-limestone soil there, and gray marl elsewhere.

Conservation: It is advised to drink this wine within 2 years. Wines without sulfites are relatively fragile. It is therefore essential to keep them in good conditions, especially fresh.
