Max Lauret, the winemaker and owner of the Domaine de Bayet, is not only at ease with vines and puns, but he is also a man of unfailing kindness. He is not only a talented and passionate winemaker, but he also provides support and assistance in every bad situation the Domaine la Clausade team is exposed to. A true partner, he helps to repair the farm equipment, warns by phone on the eve of frosty days, lends tools, and gives advice. A winegrower by birth and passionate at heart, particularly respectful of the heritage of his elders, he carries his title of “Godfather of La Clausade” to perfection.

Culture : AOP Languedoc. MADE BY MAX is produced on the clay-limestone slopes of Saint-Géniès-des-Mourgues with moderate yields (40hl/ha). The harvest is done manually. The vinification is established by carbonic maceration of 15 days with daily pumping over and punching down. Maturation for 18 months in barrels, with only 1/3 new barrels.
